About Jet Center Medford

Jet Center Medford is a family-owned FBO that has been operating in Oregon's Rogue Valley since 1967, when brothers Elmont and Ralph George founded Southern Oregon Skyways. Now in its third generation of George family ownership, the operation has been based at Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport since 1982 and brings over five decades of local knowledge to every customer interaction.

The facility at 5000 Cirrus Drive provides full FBO services including Jet-A and 100LL fueling, hangar storage for transient aircraft, and ramp parking. The terminal offers a passenger waiting area and basic amenities. Ground transportation can be arranged, and the staff is well versed in the area's hotels, restaurants, and recreation options.

Beyond the FBO, Jet Center Medford offers aircraft management, maintenance and parts, avionics services, and aircraft sales. The on-site repair capabilities mean that operators encountering a mechanical issue during a stop have access to qualified technicians without repositioning the aircraft.

Medford's location in the Rogue Valley places it at the center of southern Oregon's wine country, outdoor recreation, and cultural attractions. The Rogue River is one of the premier whitewater and fishing rivers on the West Coast, and the surrounding mountains offer hiking, skiing, and scenic drives. Ashland's Oregon Shakespeare Festival, one of the oldest and largest repertory theater companies in the country, is about 15 miles south.

The airport's 8,800-foot runway at 1,335 feet elevation handles business jets of all sizes, and the Rogue Valley's relatively mild climate means weather delays are less frequent than at many Pacific Northwest airports.

Jet Center competes on the field with Million Air Medford, which operates a larger, more recently built facility. Jet Center's appeal is the personal, family-run atmosphere and decades of local relationships that come with independent ownership.
