About Atlantic Aviation

Atlantic Aviation at George Bush Intercontinental Airport occupies the southeast side of IAH, the closest FBO position to the commercial airline terminals on the field. This location benefits passengers who need to connect between private charter flights and commercial departures, or who arrive commercially and continue their journey on a charter aircraft.

The facility operates 24/7 with full international handling and on-site customs clearance. Bush Intercontinental handles international flights from more than 60 countries, and the Atlantic FBO processes arriving international charter flights through CBP inspection without diverting to the commercial international terminal.

Ground transport from IAH runs approximately 25 miles and 40 minutes to downtown Houston. The Woodlands, the planned community and corporate hub 20 miles north of Houston, is approximately 30 minutes from the airport depending on traffic on Interstate 45. ExxonMobil's campus in Spring, just south of The Woodlands, is roughly 25 minutes from the FBO.

Houston generates substantial charter traffic from the energy industry, with oil and gas company executives and operations personnel moving between Houston, offshore facilities, and secondary energy markets. The proximity of IAH to The Woodlands and Spring makes Bush Intercontinental the preferred arrival point for companies headquartered in the north Houston corridor.

Atlantic's full-service ground handling includes fueling, aircraft staging, catering coordination, and crew facilities. The network's 100-plus locations allow flight departments based in Houston to maintain consistent handling when traveling to other Atlantic locations for company operations. Passenger lounges and crew rest areas support both short turnarounds and overnight stays before early-morning departures to offshore production sites and international energy markets.
