About Koury Aviation

Koury Aviation is an independent, Avfuel-branded FBO at Piedmont Triad International Airport that combines fixed-base operations with a private jet charter service under one roof. The facility features a 9,400-square-foot lobby and pilot services area that was purpose-built as a private terminal, giving it a more intimate feel than the typical chain FBO. Three heated hangars total over 35,000 square feet and can accommodate aircraft up to a Falcon 2000 in size. A separate 12,000-square-foot heated maintenance hangar houses Koury's FAA Part 145 certified repair station, which handles everything from small piston aircraft through turboprops and light jets. The FBO operates 24 hours and provides Jet A and Avgas, oxygen and nitrogen services, a conference room, a full kitchen, and a pilot lounge. Ground transportation options include limousine and sedan services arranged on request, plus on-site rental cars. Catering can be coordinated through the concierge team. U.S. Customs is available on the field. Koury is located at 7680 Airline Road on the airport campus, giving it a slightly different approach path from the other FBO. The Koury family has deep ties to the Greensboro business community, and the operation reflects an owner-operator mentality where the staff takes a personal interest in each arrival. For charter passengers who prefer an independent FBO with a smaller, more attentive atmosphere over a large national chain, Koury is a strong choice at PTI, particularly during high-traffic events like High Point Market.
