About Fort Wayne Aero Center

Fort Wayne Aero Center is the exclusive FBO at Fort Wayne International Airport and holds the distinction of being the first IS-BAH Stage II certified FBO in the state of Indiana. Run by the Airport Authority, the facility replaced the previous Atlantic Aviation operation and has invested in a modern, purpose-built experience for private aviation passengers.

The terminal features a bright, contemporary lobby, a plush pilot lounge, two fully equipped conference rooms with audio-visual capabilities and combined seating for 22, a fitness center with private showers, and an executive passenger terminal. Complimentary refreshments, fresh food, and daily newspapers are available throughout the building. The facility offers more than 100,000 square feet of heated hangar space, accommodating aircraft up to a Gulfstream 650, and provides a comprehensive suite of services including fueling, quick turns, cargo handling, and on-site U.S. Customs.

Fort Wayne Aero Center supplies Avfuel-branded aviation fuels and deicing services for both private and commercial customers. The FBO's IS-BAH Stage II certification demonstrates a formal commitment to safety management that goes beyond industry norms.

Fort Wayne is northeastern Indiana's economic hub, home to defense contractor Raytheon, automotive supplier BorgWarner, steel manufacturer Steel Dynamics, and medical device company Zimmer Biomet's regional operations. The city also hosts Purdue University Fort Wayne and a growing downtown entertainment district.

Fort Wayne International features a 12,001-foot primary runway that imposes zero limitations on business jet operations. For charter passengers, Fort Wayne Aero Center delivers a facility and service level that many larger cities would envy, backed by the safety certification, modern amenities, and generous hangar capacity that serious private aviation travelers require.
