About Wright Bros. Aero
Wright Bros. Aero has operated at James M. Cox Dayton International Airport since 1978, and the name is fitting for an FBO in the city where aviation was born. The facility holds the largest ramp space on the field, allowing it to handle aircraft of any size, from light turboprops to ultra-long-range business jets and even commercial-sized aircraft.
The FBO provides 24-hour fueling with a combined fuel storage capacity of 800,000 gallons across multiple fuel facilities. U.S. Customs is available on site for international arrivals, and the facility offers deicing, ground handling, catering, rental car coordination, and hangar leasing. Wright Bros. Aero also handles commercial airline services on the other side of the airport, refueling more than 55 scheduled flights daily, which speaks to the scale and reliability of their fuel operation.
For charter passengers, the Dayton location provides access to a city with a surprisingly diverse economy. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, one of the largest military installations in the country, drives significant defense and aerospace business. The University of Dayton, Premier Health, and CareSource are also major regional employers. The National Museum of the United States Air Force, located at Wright-Patterson, is the world's largest military aviation museum and a draw for aviation enthusiasts.
Dayton International sits about 15 miles north of the city center, with easy access via I-70 and I-75. The airport's 10,901-foot primary runway imposes no limitations on business jet operations. Wright Bros. Aero's combination of massive capacity, on-site customs, and decades of operational experience makes it a capable and reliable FBO for any type of private aviation mission into southwest Ohio.
