About BTR Jet Center

BTR Jet Center opened in 2021 on the east ramp at Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport's Ryan Field and was subsequently acquired by Velocity FBO Network as their fifth location. The two-story, 6,600-square-foot terminal provides a modern arrival experience for charter passengers visiting Louisiana's capital city. The passenger lobby connects to a pilot lounge with a trio of snooze rooms, a flight planning area, an eight-seat conference room, a full kitchen with cold storage, and an observation deck overlooking the ramp. A 90,000-square-foot hangar can accommodate ultra-long-range business jets, giving the facility capacity for the largest aircraft in service today. Fueling includes both Jet A and 100LL, and complimentary crew cars are available. BTR Jet Center's location on the east ramp provides quick ground access to downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana State University, and the state government campus along the Mississippi River. The city draws consistent charter traffic from the petrochemical industry along the river corridor, LSU football and athletic events, and state government business. Ground transportation and concierge services can be arranged through the FBO. The Velocity FBO Network acquisition has brought additional investment and operational standards while maintaining the facility's original character. For charter passengers, the combination of a newer terminal, large hangar capacity, and Baton Rouge's growing corporate base makes BTR Jet Center a comfortable and capable stop in a market that previously had limited FBO options.
