Executive Aviation Services operates a self-contained private terminal at Sault Ste. Marie Airport, separate from the main commercial building. The facility includes a comfortable passenger lounge, a bistro kitchen with complimentary refreshments, private meeting spaces, and sleep rooms for crew or passengers on extended layovers. Operating hours run from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily, though after-hours service can be arranged. The FBO is part of the broader Executive Aviation network, which also has locations in London, Ontario and other Canadian airports. Sault Ste. Marie sits on the Ontario-Michigan border and serves as a frequent stopping point for medevac flights, business aviation, and private aircraft transiting across northern Ontario. The airport offers four types of aviation fuel and hangar services. For charter passengers, the private terminal provides a quieter alternative to the commercial side of the airport, with direct ramp access so you walk just a short distance from the lounge to your aircraft. Ground transport including rental cars can be coordinated through the FBO staff. The airport is about 15 minutes from downtown Sault Ste. Marie, making it accessible for business travelers visiting the region's forestry, steel, and mining industries. Customs services are available at the airport for cross-border flights arriving from the United States, which is just across the St. Marys River.
